We’ve been working with analog tape for 5 DECADES! Our staff knows our machines inside and out to insure your valuable content is transferred the best it can be!
How It Works
1) You send us your tape(s) and a drive to put your files on at your expense.
2) We digitize your tapes (what you paid for on Ebay)
3) We ship the drive and tapes back paid by you via Paypal.
Formats
We can transfer to any format you need but our most popular is Prores 1080P or Prores 1080i. We do hardware based real time upscaling at no extra charge and it looks awesome! Our standard service includes calibrating our time base corrector to the bars and tone on your tape to insure an exact un-manipulated transfer.  We also offer color grading at a nominal additional fee.
Media Requirements
We need a drive to put your digitized files on to send you.  You can send one with your tapes, order one online and have it delivered directly to us, or have us provide one (additional cost of course). Whichever way it happens you need an adequate size drive to fit your media. That is determined by the length of your tape and the target format we are digitizing to. Refer to the chart shown to determine the size drive needed. It’s always good to give us a shout to verify we have all the details covered with you.
Processing and Shipping
Our turn-around time is generally 3-5 days from receiving both your tapes and drive. We need both your tapes AND drive before we can begin transferring. Your tapes and drive will be sent back to you and shipping billed via Paypal. The shipping is additional to what your Ebay purchase of the transfer fee is. We will hold a digital copy of your transfers for back-up until you verify you have received your files and all is well.
Discounts
A quantity discount is available. If you have us transfer 5 tapes, we do one free. That’s 6 tapes for the price of 5 tapes. Simply order (5) when you check out and send us 6 tapes. Please let us know you are requesting the quantity discount in advance.
Damaged Tape
If your tapes are molded we cannot run them. Please examine your tapes
before
you send them. If we receive tapes we can’t run we will not return shipping costs.  If your tapes are creased or have tape damage we will let you know the location on the program where it is found.
Liability
We are not responsible for your tapes arriving at our facility. Please be sure you send them with a tracking number! When they arrive here you will be notified by the shipper and we will reply to you as well.
