    This listing is for a vintage PISTON ACTION ROBOT (aka, Robby the Robot) made by Showa, Japan, in the 1950s. This is an original, NOT a repro, in the scarce and beautiful silver/maroon color. The robot measures approximately 8.5 inches tall and made mostly of tin with a remote control/battery box. It is in fine condition overall with a very nice dome and clean battery compartment. Looks like it was not played with much, if at all. Still works great--the robot walks along with moving pistons in the head and lighted dome. Comes with the original box.
