theater screens.  Unlike low quality VHS & analog camcorder videos, YOUR films are a series of photo-quality images originally projected onto large home movie screens.  Our commercial transfer maximizes your films' potential by utilizing over 3 MILLION digital pixels to scan each frame into 2048x1536 images.  About 64,000 images/
hour of film are then converted into HD 1080p video at 6x the resolution & 40x the data rate vs. DVDs produced by popular media transfer shops
Because we author your HD Blu-rays from this high quality 2048x1536 source video, the colors are richer, the dark scenes are less pixilated/splotchy & the details of loved ones' facial expressions are saved forever.  Even our standard definition DVDs appear much crisper and more vibrant than DVDs produced by others because we start-out with such high quality source video before down-converting it to DVD.  (This is one reason commercial movie DVDs look so good)  However, for playback on modern
40"+ 1080p HD TVs, 4K Ultra HD TVs, etc.  we strongly recommend ordering the 1920x1080 Blu-ray and/or 1920x1080p MOV or AVI files.

We are perfectionists & sometimes transfer reels 2+ times to achieve acceptable results.

Most folks ship their films to cheap media transfer services who transfer everything from low-quality VHS tapes to high-quality film.  To maximize profits, popular online shops use rows of "professional" frame-by-frame telecines operated by hourly employees. Even the best modern projector-based telecines use 0 internal 720x480 pixel cameras to videotape the footage directly to an external 0 DVD Writer.
Internal technology reduces the flicker...  Customers are typically happy  because the DVDs made from their films look about as good as the DVDs made from low-quality VHS tapes sent with the same order.  They do not realize films are photo-quality media supporting 6x the resolution with exceptional color & clarity!

PAYMENT, SHIPPING & TURN-AROUND DETAILS:
After check-out eBay will automatically provide you with payment, packing & shipping instructions including our shipping address.  You are responsible for shipping your film reel to us ASAP in a BOX using USPS First Class Mail with Signature Confirmation for the security of your pre-transferred films.  After we receive your film, our process takes 1-3 weeks depending on the condition of the film and size of your order.  Once your order is completed we will ship-out using the delivery service you have chosen.  Please choose the Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation for the faster turn-around.
Important Reminders:
This auction is for transferring ONE 3" silent reel-to-reel movie film to both Blu-ray & DVD combined in a Deluxe Case.  Please email us for larger reels (including 3.5" 16mm), multi-reel orders, or sound reels; we can setup a custom eBay auction

Level Two color editing will be added post-capture which helps your video look better than the original films.  However, it does not address all color problems.
Please note that some cheaper Super-8 film stock from the 1970's may have severe color & exposure problems whereas most films from the 1940's-1960's typically look pristine (like our examples).
Do NOT send us undeveloped film, commercial movies, copyrighted material, or XXX adult films.  We keep the master capture files for 30 days to honor our 30 Inspection Period.  Email us within 30 days (after receiving your order) if you would like to add upgrades like additional color editing, the HD files saved to hard drive, etc.
One Year Warranty: If you return a defective disc to us within the first year we will replace it at no cost.
