Hello there fellow eBayers. This listing is for the transfer and conversion of Still Video
Floppy Disk photos to a digital format. We are only offering a transfer service and not selling blank video floppy disks, cameras, or accessories.
The still video floppy disk was developed by Sony and introduced to the public in 1981. The Sony disks were sold under the "Mavipak" name for use with the Sony Mavica still video camera. Depending on the camera the disks were capable of holding up to 50 pictures. Resultant picture quality was nowhere near what would be had from later digital cameras in as much as the pictures stored on these disks were analog images.
This format was later used by Canon and Minolta among others for their cameras. All the manufacturers
ceased production of these cameras and disks sometime in the 1990's.
There are still many of these floppy disks that exist out there with lots of family memories. We provide you the means to once again view these images.
We can convert the photos contained on these disks and transfer them to the digital format of your choice. They can be transferred to compact disc, recordable DVD-R discs or USB flash drive. Your photos can also be sent electronically via email or downloaded via FTP. The average turn around time for completion of your order will vary and is dependent on the number of discs sent to us in any one order. A rough estimate for completion of your order and return shipping would be somewhere around 1 to 2 weeks. For those folks who require speedy results, expedited service is available for a minimal surcharge.

After the transfer process is complete and final payment is received, we will ship out your order on the digital format of your choice via USPS first class mail from Los Angeles. Shipping to the customer is free if the customer has elected not to have the original still video floppy disk(s) returned. If the buyer elects not to have the original disks returned via U.S. mail they will be stored with us and then eventually disposed of if no longer needed for further or corrective transfer work.
