The Metro MY2636-35G utility cart has a maximum capacity of 500 pounds spread across its three shelves, which are designed to each hold two 18-inch-by-26-inch totes (sold separately). The shelves are made of polymer, a material that resists corrosion and can withstand impacts. To keep small items organized, there is a utility tray between the top shelf and handle.
