    Description

    Hello Cloisonne Collectors!
Here is an incredibly detailed Japanese classic yusen shippo (with standard wire) of a bird perched in a cherry tree.
This very finely worked vase is very well done highlighting the use of silver wires that resemble the thickness of human hair!
The bright cherry tree blossoms provide an amazing contrast to the high gloss, jet black background, allowing the colorful flowers to literally jump from the design.
There are other flowering plants towards the bottom of the vase.
This exceptional vase is in excellent vintage condition without any major faults such as cracks, chips or hairlines or restoration.
Overall, a beautiful and pristine vase that is both artistic and technically accomplished.
As many of you know, I originally purchased this vase many years ago as part of my efforts to obtain creative examples that leveraged various techniques and styles of cloisonne enamels.
The height of this vaseis approximately 7.25 inches
The width of the vase isapproximately 3.75 inches
Due to the fragile natureof cloisonné enamels, this vase will be double boxed and packed with tremendous care.
This vase will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail with insurance to confirmed addresses within the United States. We cannot ship overseas or international deliveries at thistime.
Please ask all questionsprior to bidding.  Thank you!
