I've been editing and restoring analog video for over 20 years and can get THE BEST possible quality out of your precious video tapes. I use the same digitizing methods as Hollywood feature films and documentaries and ONLY use the best hardware, software and restoration methods on the market today to transfer and digitize your tapes.
Most of these eBay services simply transfer your tapes using cheap VCR's and consumer DVD Recorders leaving much to be desired out of your precious footage. I use nothing but the best JVC, S-Video VCR's and Professional Adobe software with De-Noise filters to make your videos look as good as possible.
Video tapes have a shelf life of roughly 20 years. After that they start to degrade and lose their footage. It's highly recommended to have them transferred before they reach this point.
