Vintage Franciscan "Apple"  Place Settings 43 Pieces
Introduced in 1940, Franciscan's Apple pattern features hand-painted designs
on its earthenware dishes.
There are between 4 and 9 dishes within each size listed below.  All are in
very good used condition with no chips or cracks, except as noted.  Most were
made in California 1940 to 1958, some of the large plates were made in England.
The place settings include:
8 Dinner Plates, 10.5" diameter - USA 1963 and England late 70's
8 Dinner or Lunch Plates, 9.5" diameter.  One has a small repaired rim chip (pictured),
one has a
light surface crack.  USA 1953-1958
6 Salad Plates, 8" diameter.  USA 1940-1941
9 Dessert Plates, 6.25" diameter.  Three have small chips on the underside of the rim.
